Runningonair - The Cloud Redacted

“The Cloud Redacted” is the latest iteration of a piece that started as a drone, based on the harmonic series. I later introduced synthesizer and drum elements, as well as samples with the phrase “in the cloud”, hence the title. This was initially submitted for the release but after it was confirmed the released was going ahead, I felt that a complete rework had to be attempted. This new version keeps much of the original harmonic material, including both pure dim 5th and aug 4th for added flavour. The text is from a spam e-mail that I received around 12 years ago, which appeared to have no malicious intent but contained this curious text. DAW based drums have been replaced by the Drumbrute drum machine and an extra Microbrute Bass line has been added. Will this be the final version? It seems unlikely.
