about

To the Autumn Birds was an album which was a product of a simple will of direct communication and of a wish for the purity of the message, even with casual complexities. Despite being totally solo, recorded in my house or in the Music School of UFBA, there was no way out from the (fortunate) mishaps, which turned to be incorporated into the process. They diminished the feeling of loneliness here. Perhaps like the birds in a flock searching for new territories, I’m aspiring to a freedom that is only consummated in music form. But this album is pointed out by the tragedies of urge, or inspiration, or a wish to bring intimate confessions in sound format, or delirium. Not without the research of diverse tunings and sonorities. Anyway, every recorded piece here was experienced like being the last one. From urbanity to intimacy. From collectivity to individuality. Among cries and whispers. Among piano, electronics and the guitar, an integrative voice in re-tunings of worlds.
