about

"Electronic Piano Improvisation - Mean Tone in F"
This work was realized on a Yamaha SY77; after some experimenting with various intonations I chose the the mean tone to emphasize the 'blue" note major and minor thirds; also some of the chord progressions are redolent of mid 20th century jazz. The improvised performance itself was not edited but the tempo of it was slightly tweaked.
